Groundnut, also known as peanut, is the second most important legume after beans in Uganda. It is also the sixth most important oilseed crop in the world.
Beans are warm-season crops that grow quickly from seeds planted directly into the garden. There's no need to start them indoors.
Peas grow best in areas with full sun and deep, well draining, organic soils with a pH range of 6.0 to 7.0.
